Club Championship

This year's club championship will consist of two all-play-all pools. The top two in each pool will progress to the semi-finals, with the victors playing in the final.

Rules

Each round of matches must be completed by the deadline.
The duration of each match will be 75 minutes per player for all moves (this can be adjusted to 'all moves in 60 minutes if both players agree.
Ties will be broken by head-to-head results, followed by a tie-break quick play match of 20 minutes per player (lower-graded player takes White)
The winner of Pool A will have the white pieces against Pool B's runner-up and the winner of Pool B will take White against Pool A's runner-up.
In the event of semi-final & final draws, the match will be settled by quickplay.
In the final, if the players come from the same pool, players will take oppoosite colours to the Pool match. If not, the player who achieves the largest increase between tournament perfromance rating and actual grade (in the Pool matches) will take the white pieces.
